DESCRIPTION:Casa de Apoio Elba Alencastro Fleury Curado serves as a sanctuary for individuals and families who travel from various parts of Brazil to seek medical care in the city. The shelter offers a supportive and welcoming environment where patients and their families can stay free of charge while undergoing treatments\, whether it’s a child battling cancer or parents in need of specialized medical care. \nOur decision to support Casa De Apoio Elba was driven by our desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those facing medical challenges away from home. By providing them with vital supplies and transportation assistance\, we aim to alleviate some of the burdens they may encounter during their medical journeys. We have extended our support to Casa De Apoio Elba on multiple occasions\, June 2024\, December 2023\, and July 2023! The connection to this shelter was established through friends who also advocate for this cause. \nJune 2024 – The Boulanger Foundation (TBF) donated essential supplies such as cleaning products\, paper goods\, milk\, and R$2\,000 in gas to fulfill their transportation requirements. \nDecember 2023 – We provided donations to families with children within the medical treatment facility\, offering Christmas toys to the kids living there. \nJuly 2023 – We supported Casa De Apoio Elba by providing food provisions\, a year’s supply of gas for their vehicle\, as well as toys and supplies for the infants residing there. TBF also extended financial assistance to a young girl battling cancer in her right eye. \nOur commitment to aiding Casa De Apoio Elba Alencastro Fleury Curado remains resolute as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need and we will be back! \n
